Shown to a driver at onboarding — when an operator adds them to a fleet and/or when they first sign in and take up the Driver role. It is notice, not consent: driving on the platform is not conditional on ticking anything here.
Your privacy as a driver. You're joining a fleet on the JollyDrivers platform, operated by Jolly Frog Transfers (John Gentner, ABN 59 570 116 144). To run the fleet and assign trips, we collect and hold: your name and contact details (phone, email), your photo if provided, your sign-in identity (Google account or verified mobile number), details of the vehicle you drive (make, model, year, colour, class, registration, photo), the trip options you can provide (such as child seats), and records of the bookings you take, drive and update.
We share what's needed with: the operator whose fleet you join (fleet and trip management); Jolly Frog Pty Ltd (ABN 38 637 828 874), a separate, related business that confirms, schedules, invoices and keeps records of trips — booking messages sent to it can identify you as the booker or assigned driver and describe your vehicle; riders and bookers, who may see your name, photo and vehicle details for trips you drive; and regulators or police where the law requires or authorises it. Driver and vehicle records connected to bookings are kept for at least 2 years, consistent with passenger-transport record-keeping requirements.
If you book a trip as a passenger, you're treated like any rider — see the standard collection notice and Privacy Policy.
Questions, access, correction, complaints: Privacy Policy · privacy@jollyfrog.net.au.
We do not currently collect driver licence numbers, accreditation details, medical or police checks, availability rosters, or fatigue records. If the platform adds any of these (for example, fatigue management or accreditation tracking), this notice will be updated before collection starts, and anything that is sensitive information (such as medical checks) will be collected only with your express consent.
As a driver you can keep contact cards and notes about your customers on the platform. Those notes are personal information about your customers that the platform holds — keep them factual and trip-relevant, and don't record health or other sensitive details about a customer in free text (if a customer has an accessibility need, use the accessibility flow when available so it's recorded with their consent).
